A cantora brasileira Anitta foi uma das indicadas ao MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2026 nesta terça-feira (18), na categoria Melhor Música Latina com a canção "Choka Choka". A premiação, que ocorrerá nos Estados Unidos, está marcada para o dia 27 de setembro deste ano.
"Tão feliz de ver "Choka Choka" com Shakira, uma música do meu álbum "EQUILIBRIVM", indicada a Melhor Música Latina no VMAs! Obrigada pela indicação", escreveu Anitta, ainda agradecendo à artista colombiana na mensagem.
Na mesma categoria, Anitta disputa com a própria Shakira, que concorre com "Dai Dai", e nomes mundiais como Bad Bunny, Karol G. e Rosalía.
"Choka Choka" foi lançada como parceria entre as duas artistas ainda no mês de abril, quando Anitta lançou a primeira etapa do projeto "EQUILIBRIVM", que possui 32 faixas.
